It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Jones of Jasper, Alabama, who passed away on March 27, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Betty Lou leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Earnest and Eunice Earnest. She is survived by: her children, Kenda Ingram, Ken Thomas and Sonya Herald Day; and her grandchildren, Jason Thomas, Adam Thomas, Sam Thomas, LaQuinta Ingram, Amie Day and Alisha Day. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kilgore-Green Funeral Home (1200 Birmingham Ave, Jasper, AL 35501). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Kilgore-Green Chapel (1200 Birmingham Ave, Jasper, AL 35501).
