She is survived by: her husband Clarence Elkins; her son Barry Elkins (Tracy); her siblings, Melinda McGinnis (Mickey), Huey Wakefield (Carolyn), Ray Wakefield (Sue) and Donald Wakefield (Serreda); her siblings-in-law, Sheryl Wakefield, Danny Brock, Nancy Brock, Janis Blanton, Virginia Burnett, Barbara Robinson and Earnestine Elkins; and her grandson Caleb Matthew Elkins. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Collins-Burke Funeral Home (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Collins-Burke Chapel (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504).
