She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Floyd Greene and Gracie Quinn Greene; her parents, Herbert Curtis Greene and Vaudry McGough Greene; and her brother Danny Curtis Greene.

She is survived by: her husband Charles Wayne Best; her children, Emily Nicole Goldsmith (Jeremiah) and Jeffery Wayne Best; and her sisters, Brenda Akins (Donnie) and Diane Taylor. She is also survived by other relatives and dear friends.
