He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Northcutt and Cleo Northcutt; and his siblings, Alma Jean Felker, Wendall Northcutt and Bobby Dean Northcutt.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy Wright Northcutt; his children, David Tidwell (Susie) of Dallas and Tara Gail Godbey; and his grandchildren, Michelle Godbey and Daniel Godbey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
