She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Icedo Sims Yates and James LaFayette Yates of Nauvoo, Alabama.; her husband Alfred; and her daughter Sarah Katherine Bell Freeman (Kathy). She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Bell Cadenhead Trucks (Michael) of Birmingham, Sharon Bell of Birmingham, Denise Bell Wheeler (Wayne) and Rhonda Bell Lankard (Brian) of Cumming, GA.; her son-in-law Rhodney Lyle Freeman of Jasper, AL; her stepson Hollis Bell of Haleyville, AL.; her granddaughters, Andrea Katherine Freeman (Andi), Elizabeth Rice Beasley (Evan), Sarah Miller (Brandon Gill), Madelyn Wheeler (Maddie) of Staunton, VA and Amanda Katherine Lankard (Chris Hodges) of Inverness, AL.; and her great grandchildren, Sarah Katherine Pate Graham, Emily Adell Beasley and Abigail Etta Beasley.
