He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Sue Thompson; his brothers, Ricky Thompson and Eddie Thompson; and his granddaughter Natalie Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Battles (Allan), Allen Thompson and Shannon Thompson (Tammy); his brothers, Bobby Joe Certain and Fred Thompson; his grandchildren, Caiti Thomas, Cassidy Deavor, Kaitlyn Thompson, Allanc Blankenship, Brianne Thompson, Joseph Humphries Jr., Kolby Battles and Anna Grace Thompson; and his great grandchildren, Megan Thomas, Emeline Blankenship, Mia Kate Deavor, Winter Humphries, Elizabeth Hanson and Bryson Hanson.
