She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert J. Bedwell and Mary Brown Bedwell; her husband Eldred C. Dothard; her daughter Mary Dothard Cooper; her son-in-law Marc Givhan; and her siblings, Robert J. Bedwell, Jr. and Lynne Bedwell Rhodes.
She is survived by: her children, Eldred Gregory Dothard of Decatur, Janet Dothard Givhan and George Wallace Dothard; her children-in-law, Donna of Birmingham and Mike Cooper of Gadsden; her grandchildren, Preston Dothard (Sara), Sarah Cooper, Owen Cooper, Vivian Givhan, Charlotte Givhan, Virginia Givhan and Cole Dothard; her great grandchildren, Alyssa Dothard, Mason Dothard and Cora Harper Cooper; her niece Beth Rhodes Stone; and her sisters-in-law, Rose Dothard and Jenny Dothard. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
