With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vernon Rudell Nance of Jacksonville, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Nance and Susie Nance; his daughter Jackie Nance; and his siblings, Sam Nance, Clyde Nance, Hershel Nance, Hoyt Nance, Lucille Morrison, Mildred Beard and Mosie Cardwell.

He is survived by: his wife Libby Nance; his daughter Veronica Porter (Randy); his granddaughters, Heather Porter Robinson (Chase) and Hannah Porter Coggins (Joseph); and his great grandchildren, Laney Robinson, Lilly Robinson, Sawyer Coggins, Lorali Coggins, Levi Robinson and Blakely Coggins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
