With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vernon Gray of Jacksonville, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 16, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Gray and Willie Jo Gray; and his sisters, Elaine Gray, Gaynell Teague and Molene Chitwood.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Gray; his children, Beverly Sprayberry (Jeff), James Gray (Beth) and Jerome Gray (Lorri); his grandchildren, Zackrey Gray (John), Emily Gray and Matthew Gray (Catherine); his great grandchild Adalyn Regan Gray; and his sister Frankie Chitwood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
