With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Toney Payne of Jacksonville, Alabama, who passed away on December 27, 2024 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Toney may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Payne and John Payne; and his sisters-in-law, Sharon B. Payne and Sharon L. Payne. He is survived by: his siblings, Coley Payne (Sharon), Carlos Payne (Debra), Dennis Payne (Sue), Clanda Page and Connie Atchley (Gary). He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews; 26 great nieces and nephews; and two great great niece and nephew.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Saks Baptist Church (2945 U. S. Hwy 431, Alexandria, AL 36206). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
