She was predeceased by: her parents, June Smith and Guy Smith; her sister Lynn Whaley; and her granddaughter Makenzie Lee Bryant. She is survived by: her husband Harold Sweatt; her children, Travis Sweatt (Donna), Darrin Sweatt (Monica) and Amanda Bryant (Toby); her grandchildren, Caleb Sweatt and Macie Bryant; her great grandchildren, Caleb Sweatt, Jr. and Conway Sweatt; and her siblings, Richard Smith, Neal Smith (Judy), Deborah Harrell (Jimmy) and Beverly Seamon.
