He was predeceased by: his father James Robert Angel; his son Jesse R. Angel; his mother Kathryn P Angel Putman; and his siblings, Beverly O'Hare, Jerry Putman, Wesley Putman and James Allen Angel.

He is survived by: his siblings, Velita Worthy (Larry), Teresa Simmons (Jeff) and Ricky Putman (Rhonda). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Angel Grove Baptist Church (4404 AL-204, Jacksonville, AL 36265). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Angel Grove Baptist Church or the Calhoun County Humane Society.
