He was predeceased by: his wife Thelma Joyce Burr; his son Robert Keith Burr; and his parents, Robert J. Burr and Erma Burr. He is survived by: his daughters, Robin Givhan (Tim) and Sharon Ross (Bill); his daughter-in-law Sonya Burr; his brother Edward Cliff Burr; his grandchildren, Shanna Fleig (Jeff), Anna Chambless (Ryan), Steven Ross, Tyler Burr (Caroline), Sarah Hulett (Taylor) and Sidney Collins (David); and his great grandchildren, Gavin Fleig, Evelyn Burr, Luke Collins, Jake Chambliss, Colt Chambliss and Avery Chambliss. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and close friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home (542 W 52nd St, Anniston, AL 36206). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
