He was predeceased by: his daughter Ashley Nicholson; and his parents, Roy Nicholson and Kathleen Nicholson. He is survived by: his wife Laura Nicholson; his children, Nicholas "Nick" Nicholson (Sara) and Spenser Nicholson; his grandchildren, Gavin Nicholson, Oliver Nicholson and Declan Nicholson; his sister Gayle Borders (Roger); his niece Temeah Harrelson; and his nephew Dee Borders.
