He was predeceased by: his former wife Annette Baird Reaves; his son Ronald Ray Reaves; and his grandson Ross Reaves. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Reaves; his daughter Tanya Reaves Walker; his daughter-in-law Paige Busbee (Ron); his grandchildren, Josh Walker, Nathan Walker (Chelsea), Jonathan Walker (Emily), Hannah Reaves Wade (Nathan) and Ashlyn Reaves; his great grandchildren, Audrey Wade and Nora Wade; and his siblings-in-law, Jeanette Baird Griffith, Rita C. Reaves and Otis Patterson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Children's Hospital of Alabama (childrensal.org); or to your favorite charity.
