She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Laughead and Ruby Laughead; her son-in-law Kyle Comfort; and her brother Robert Laughead. She is survived by: her husband Mike Clopton; her children, Brooke Comfort (Reed Turner) and Taylor Clopton (Meghan); her grandchildren, Kinleigh Comfort, Jackson Clopton, Carter Clopton, Blaze Turner, Rush Turner and Collins Turner; her siblings, Marilyn Thompson (Jim), Theresa Lay (Greg) and Alvin Bumpus; and her nieces and nephews, Kim Allen, Lee Bumpus, Will Thompson, Kaitlyn Cox, Trae Fite, Jerrod Fite, Patrick Clopton, Jacob Clopton, Stan Clopton and Jimmy Neal Clopton. She is also survived by great nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Faith Temple Christian Center Building Fund to help rebuild after the fire @ 831 Alexandria Rd SW, Jacksonville, AL 36265.
