Nancy Green Ponder Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Green Ponder of Jacksonville, Alabama, who passed away on February 14, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Charles "Bunk" Ponder; her son Mike Ponder; her parents, Roy Green and Ida Green; and her brothers, Bill Green and Buford Green.

She is survived by: her children, Deb Webb (Richie) and Donald Ponder (Jane); her daughter-in-law Eileen Ponder; her grandchildren, Krystle Ponder McMullen (Greg), Cody Ponder (Lauren), David Ponder, Kyra Bramlett, Matt Webb and Kyle Webb (Halle); her great grandchildren, Madison Bramlett, Nataly Bramlett, Liam McMullen, Ellis McMullen, Marley Ponder, Emery Ponder and Asher Peterson; and her friend Sadie Mae. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Williams, 5579 Nisbet Lake Road, Jacksonville, AL 36265.
