He was predeceased by: his daughter Cindi Gilbert; and his parents, Cecil Gilbert and Pauline Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Martha "Mot" Gilbert; his daughters, Paula Foster (Robert) and Stephanie Gilbert (Reggie Jairrels); his grandchildren, Montana Deese (Austin), Cheyenne McGlaughan and Spenser McGlaughan; and his great grandchildren, Dallas Deese and Lincoln Deese. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
