She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Carter Sr. and Margie; her brothers, Grover Wayne Carter Jr. and Timothy Glenn Carter; and her grandparents, Emmett, Hattie Bundrum Ledbetter, L. C. and Nora Carter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kim Carter King (Brian Duffee) and Heather Lancaster (Anthony Allen); her grandchildren, Corey Pressley (Becca), Christian King and Kenzi Allen; her great grandchildren, Madelyn and Kenlyn Pressley; her cousins, Terry Baker, Berry, Tracey Cameron, Robert, Lauren Baker, Phillip and Rita Parris; and her stepsisters, Teresa Whitman Underwood and Pam Miller. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
