Joyce Ann Lankford Obituary

Funeral services for Joyce Whatley Lankford, 70 of Jacksonville will be 2:00 pm, Monday, April 23, 2018 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Rev. Michael Hosch officiating. Burial will follow at Thomas Cemetery in Jacksonville. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 pm Monday prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Lankford passed away April 19, 2018 at her residence.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Carter Houser; father, Cleo Whatley; sister, Bobbie Whatley Bentley; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Donald Lankford; children, Mikki Matthews (Carl Cochran); sons, Jason Morris and Chris Lankford (Jesse); grandchildren, Devyn Gaines (Kailen Marcum), Casey Gaines Hays (Nick), Zach Morris, Brooke "BooBoo" Lankford and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Justin Canada, Frank Cochran, Jerry Hulsey and Brian Lovette.
