He was predeceased by: his brother James Garmon; his niece Mary Harris; and his parents, James Garmon and Billie Garmon. He is survived by: his spouse Margarita V. Garmon; his children, Manuel Fernando Valencia, Asley Garmon, Christine Garmon and Geraldine Garmon; and his sisters, Wanda Raines, Glatha Green and Tonya Hills. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
