He was predeceased by: his former wife Ethel Aline Williams Couch; his parents, Garrett Couch and Anna Marie Couch; his son Jonathan David Couch; and his sister Eunice Patton.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Kirstie Couch; his grandson Wesley James Couch; his siblings, Mary Bailey, Martha Nash, Genevieve Devlin and Garland "Dan" Couch; and his friend Marie Godfrey Couch. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
