She was predeceased by: her husband Phil Copeland; her parents, Raymond McGinnis and Bovine McGinnis; and her brother Johnny "Bubba" McGinnis. She is survived by: her daughters, Dana Jennings, Vicki Pierce (Lee) and Robin Hunt. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
