With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hughes Franklin Burford (Jacksonville, Alabama), born in Lincoln, Alabama, who passed away on April 6, 2018 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Evelyn Meads, Louise Griffitt and John Waymon Burford; and his son Phillip Lauris Williams. He is survived by: his wife Amanda Joyce Burford; his brothers, Sam Burford and Clarence Burford (Warnie); his children, Catherine Hammett, Danny Burford and Dan Williams; his grandchildren, Kelly Ganson and Taylor Hammett; and his great grandchildren, Jessie, Tessa, Tristan, Tenley and Gracie.
