He was predeceased by: his wife Helene Duncan. He is survived by: his children, Angie Duncan Nemeth (Mike), Klaus Duncan (Sandra), Peter Eschrig (Brenda), Donald Duncan (Billie), Harold Duncan, Mike Duncan (Sharhonda) and Jeff Duncan (Angela); and his close friend Marie Sallee. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
