He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Helen Beverly Hurst and Herbert Mortimer Hurst. He is survived by: his wife Susan Gail Stack Hurst; his children, Davis Mark Hurst and Hannah Elizabeth Hurst; and his sister Marcia Butler (Tim). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
