She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Johnson and Edna Johnson; her husband Herman Walter "Wally" Barthel; her sister Margie Bailey; and her granddaughter-in-law Heather Barthel.
She is survived by: her son Richard W. Barthel Sr.; her daughter-in-law Katherine; her grandchildren, Rebecca Diane and RIchard W. Barthel Jr.; her great grandchildren, Destiny Turner (Dalton) of Taylor Barthel, J. T, Kendall Barthel and Landon Turner; and her sisters, Billie Hayes and Jan Haizlip.
