We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2023, at the age of 93, Grover C. Prickett Jr. (Jacksonville, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Rory Prickett; his siblings, Marshall Prickett, Sargent Prickett, Leola Prickett and Novie Manor; his parents, Grover Cleveland Prickett, Sr. and Beulah I. Prickett; and his stepdaughter Susan Angel.
He is survived by: his wife Myris Pearce Prickett; his children, Guy Prickett and Celeste Prickett Johnson; his stepchildren, Rebecca Angel Embrey (Rich), Cynthia Angel Green (Ted) and Robert Angel; his grandchildren, Pearce Embrey, Laura Green Mills (Alan), Alyssa Angel Sawyer (Seth) and Tyler Angel (Madison); his great grandchild Rylei Rhea Angel; his sister Mary Snelling; and his sister-in-law Margaret Prickett. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Angel Grove Baptist Church, 4404 AL Hwy 204, Jacksonville, AL 36265.
