He was predeceased by: his wife Esther Penny Sherman; and his parents, Willard Sherman and Grace Sherman. He is survived by: his children, Patricia Ballard (Scott) and Christopher Sherman (Kelly); his grandchildren, Brandyn Sherman, Haley Sherman, Nathan Ballard and Erin Ballard; and his brother Willard Clyde Sherman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
