Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Edwin Wallace Allsup of Jacksonville, Alabama, who passed away at the age of 95, on March 30, 2025. He was predeceased by: his son Ronald "Catfish" Allsup; his parents, Wallace Allsup and Louise Allsup; his sister Jo Ellen Naugher; his grandchildren, Jack Allsup and Elizabeth Hartnett; and also, Stonewall, Elizabeth Jones, Dot Wills, Linda Jones, Jennie Jones, James Jones and Earl Jones.
He is survived by: his daughter Bonnie Allsup; his great grandchild Mila Phillips; and also, Ruth Snider, Evelyn Lloyd, Betty Clay (Floyd), Jackie Rankin (Lance) and Edgar Jones (Martha). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Rabbittown Baptist Church (2450 Rabbittown Rd, Piedmont, AL 36272). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Alabama www. alz.org in memory of Edwin and Emma Allsup.
