In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Donald had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Donald may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He is survived by: his wife Olene Howle Thompson; his sons, Donald Howle Thompson (Sherry) and Stuart L. Thompson; his grandchildren, Lauren Alexis Thompson and Donald Christopher Thompson; and his sisters, Willodeen Boozer and Dorothy Hale.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the West Point Baptist Church (6835 AL-204, Jacksonville, AL 36265). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers or other gifts, the family suggests donations to West Point Baptist Church Building Fund, 200 Saddle Club Rd. Jacksonville AL 36265.
