With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Christopher Owen Nix of Jacksonville, Alabama, born in Anniston, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 10, 2024 at the age of 22. Though Christopher Owen may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Christopher Owen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his grandmother Joyce Nix; and his great-grandparent Adah Burkhalter. He is survived by: his parents, Archie Nix and Miranda Nix; his son Nylen Nix; his siblings, Samuel Nix, Hunter Nix and Stormie Key; and his grandparents, Thurman Nix and Pam Burkhalter. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
