We are sad to announce that on February 24, 2025, at the age of 76, Christine Fredonia King of Jacksonville, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Frank; her parents, James Frank Allison and Anna Christine Stallings Allison; and her close friend Lynne Smith. She is survived by: her child Chris; her grandchildren, Finn, Odhran, Emmet, Oona and Sadbh; her husband Franklin King; her son James (Dathalinn); her daughter-in-law Ashley Wiggins King; and also Stephanie Woodard.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the K. L. Brown Funeral Home & Crematory (322 Nisbet St NW, Jacksonville, AL 36265). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Jacksonville City Cemetery (910 Church Ave SE, Jacksonville, AL 36265).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations made in her honor to the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society 3500 Blue Lake Drive. #255 Birmingham, AL 35243, an organization that she strongly supported.
