With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Jackson Morgan of Jacksonville, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2025 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Morgan and Thelma Morgan; and his siblings, Michael Morgan, Gerald Morgan, Freddie Morgan, Keith Morgan and Cathy Cambron.
He is survived by: his wife Vera Morgan; his children, James Timothy Morgan (Jennifer) and Thomas Jackson Morgan (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Danielle Almaroad (Corey), Jillian Gardner (Kevin), Lucy Duke (Chase) and John Mark Morgan; his great grandchildren, Jackson Alamroad (Mackenzie), Mason Almaroad, Cailey Almaroad, Kasen Gardner, Easton Gardner, Lettie Duke, Auron Duke, Nola Duke, Elsie Duke, Lillie Morgan, Ezra Morgan, Jacob Morgan and Olivia Fortenberry; his siblings, Janice McCord (John Ed), Rhonda Stewart (Jerry) and Milton Morgan Rex (Renee); and his grandsons, Riley, Jackson, Mason, John Mark, Kasen, Easton, Ezra, Jacob and Auron. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the K. L. Brown Funeral Home & Crematory (322 Nisbet St NW, Jacksonville, AL 36265). A graveside service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Philadelphia Cemetery.
