She is survived by: her husband Darryl Robinson; her children, Stephen Carter and Chris Carter; her grandchildren, Jeremiah Le-Sean, Ja-Siyah Armani and JayCeon Amir Carter; her daughter-in-law Tiesha Lanier; her siblings, Christine Carter, Roslyn Moten, James Carter, William Carter and Johnell Carter; her siblings-in-law, Joan Robinson, Myra King, Jo Linda Byrd (Michael) and Johnny Mitchell; her close friends, Ronald McGlothin, Harry Gilliam and Karl Harris; and her aunt Lillie Anderson (James). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the K. L. Brown Funeral Home & Crematory (322 Nisbet St NW, Jacksonville, AL 36265). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
