It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin Draper Buse of Jacksonville, Alabama, who passed away on March 1, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Shelia Buse; his parents, Niles Buse and Ruth Buse; and his siblings, Terry Roger Buse and Kim Buse.
He is survived by: his children, Gina Winkler (Jeffrey), Kathy Dunaway (Leon), Tracy Ledbetter and Adam Buse (Cassie); his grandchildren, Nick, Roy, George, Diana, Crystal, Lucas, Kaley and Joshua; his great grandchildren, Kennedy Watkins, Olivia Watkins and Jade Roberts; his siblings, Shirley Bartiromo and Tim Buse; and his great-aunt Doris Hanvey. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the K. L. Brown Funeral Home & Crematory (322 Nisbet St NW, Jacksonville, AL 36265). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
