He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Leon and Elsie Hardy Bonds of Williams Community, Alabama.; his former wife Martha Bonds; his brothers, Lendon Bonds and Jesse Bonds; his siblings-in-law, Nancy Andrews Bonds and Glenn Brittain; and his stepson Robert Dotson III.
He is survived by: his wife Tillie Byers; his siblings, Hazel Brittain and Richard Bonds (Cheryl); his sister-in-law Peggy Bonds; his children, Suzon Williams (Gene) and Byron Bonds (Venita); his stepchildren, Robert Byers (Stacey), Joann Wingard and Richard Byers (Kristie); and his grandchildren, Mishelle Anderson (Jonathan), Eric Bonds (Molly), Robbie Bonds (Sara), Gina Aldridge (Jon), Gaige Bonds and Ian Bonds. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
