He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth McCary of Jacksons Gap; his children, Richard McCary of Opelika, Ginger Pate (Charles) of Dadeville and Teresa Harris of Tallassee; his daughter-in-law Toni McCary of Dadeville; his grandchildren, Grace McCary, Matthew Pate of Joshua McCary, J. P, T. C. Harris and Cody Harris; and his siblings, Teresa McCain (Ricky) of Alexander City and John McCary of Alexander City. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
