He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Thomas Hardin and Mary Helen Chafin Hardin. He is survived by: his wife Diane Hardin of Jacksons Gap; his children, Tonya Hardin Yarchak (Michael) of Hoover and James Aaron Hardin, Jr. (Cynthia) of Auburn; his grandchildren, Malori Harry (Taylor), Meagan Yarchak, Alex Yarchak, Hunter Hardin, Aaron Hardin, Bella Hardin, Catherine Garrett and Will Garrett; his great grandchild Scarlett Harry; and his siblings, Becky Roberson (Roger) of Auburn, Jean Atkins (Terry) of Deatsville and Rick Hardin (Christy) of Mentone.
