She was predeceased by: her father Alton Perry McLendon; her stepson Justin Knoll; and her siblings, Peggy Diane McCrary and Tim McLendon. She is survived by: her husband Philip Knoll; her children, Carrie (Conrad Eckhardt) and Kim (Shane Morse); her stepdaughter Karley Coyne; her grandchildren, Caden Dillard, Blair Morse, Haley, Serenity, Trinity, Sean, Grace, Kennedy, Harley, Dawson, Jay, Jaxon, Riggs, Aubree, Hayden, Leo, Lucas, Levi and Ledger Coyne; and also, Alton (Jioleta McLendon) and Ginger (Rudy Bernard).
