He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Overstreet and Irene Finney Overstreet; his son Myles Overstreet; and his siblings, Woody Overstreet, Buck Overstreet, Willard Overstreet, Junior Overstreet and Lavern Whitehead.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Overstreet; his children, Steve Overstreet (Cindy) and Chrystal Walker (Chris); his grandchildren, Miley Overstreet, Cody Claxton, Cary Walker and Logan Overstreet; and his brother Herman Overstreet (Carolyn). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lathan Funeral Home (1867 US-43, Jackson, AL 36545). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stave Creek Baptist Cemetery (3495 AL-69, Jackson, AL 36545).
