It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thad Jones (Jackson, Alabama), who passed away on October 1, 2018, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, Sharon Howze (Theodore), Regina Creer (Elmore) of Jackson, AL, Theresa Butler (Percy) of Mobile, AL., Jerome Jones (Gladys), Michael Jones (Denise) and Thad Jones (Rose); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Morris (Tommy) of Boston, MA., Flora Jean Wiley of Jackson, AL. and Tommie L. Wiley of Saraland, AL.. He is also survived by Twenty-eight great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren with a host of other relatives and friends.
