We are sad to announce that on November 1, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Richard Ray in Jackson, Alabama, born in Flat Rock, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Lenoir, Francis, Rudolph and Betty Ray Fisher; his children, Richard Ray, Jr. and Rosemary Phelps; and his wife Lucia Ray.

He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Pruitt, Rita Rosier, Russell Ray, Ritchie Ray, Lisa Gentry, Carolina Alday (Don Alday) and Pat Unger; and his brothers, Nathan Ray (Jane Ray) of Hendersonville, N. C. and Paul Ray of Langtry, Texas.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 3 great, great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
