He was predeceased by: his parents, Bufus Bennett and Maedell Thompson Bennett; and his siblings, Jerry Bennett and Brenda Salter. He is survived by: his wife Nanette Tyson Bennett; his son Scott Bennett (Nicole); and his grandsons, Walker Bennett, Hayden Bennett and Harlen Odom. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and loving friends.

In lieu of flowers donation can be made in Raymonds memory to Union Baptist Church Cemetery Fund at 1547 Allen Walker Road Grove Hill, AL 36451.
