We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Peggy Lankford Bailey in Jackson, Alabama. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. William Benjamin Lankford and Lillie Mae Kean Lankford; her husband Ben Bailey; her son Benjamin Lankford Bailey; and her siblings, Virginia Lankford Reed, Mary Ann Hester and Terry Kean Lankford.
She is survived by: her daughter Suzanne Bailey (Chris); her grandchildren, Griffin Hansen (Joy) and Sarah Turner (Brady); and her great grandchild Meredith Harding Turner. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, and because of her love for animals, those wishing to honor her memory are requested to make a donation to Friends of DeKalb County, Alabama Animal Adoption Center.
