She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Elizabeth and Caroll Lafyette Arrington; her son Allen Wallace Nelson; and her brothers, James Edward Arrington "Bubba", Johnny Arrington and Caroll Arrington, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Phyllis Nelson Kennedy (Andy); her husband Wallace Dale Nelson; and her daughter Lynne Nelson (Bob).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Jackson (214 College Ave, Jackson, AL 36545). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
