With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mabel June Fagan of Jackson, Alabama, who passed away on January 13, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Shanks and Mona Pearl Shanks; her siblings, Harriet "Hattie" Snider (Edwin), Elizabeth "Tat" Elekes (Joe), Alice Goudy, Mary Robinson (James), Jodie Brookes (Lynn), Robert Shanks (Pearl) and Don Shanks (Gladys); her husband Darrel; and her son Richard.

She is survived by: her daughter Cynde Freeland (Joe) of Mannington, WV; her granddaughter Amber Freeland of Mannington, WV; her son Doug Fagan (Noel) of Alabaster, AL; and her grandson Sean Fagan of Alabaster, AL.

Mabel June Fagan, age 96, residing in Briar Glen Alzheimer's.
