She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcus Cloyd and Claudia Marie White Lane; her husband Charles'Bud'Lawley; and her daughter Alice Wilkins. She is survived by: her children, Wendell Ryals and Joannie Ryals; her grandchildren, Charles Zachary Wilkins, Brent Ryals, Jacob Ryals (Mandy) and Mackenzie Handcock; and her great grandchild Cohen Lane Ryals. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Lumerl Lawley to First Presbyterian Church P.O. Box 355 Jackson, AL 36545.
