She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Lee and Lena Bell Dungan; her husband James "Jimmy" Hudson; and her sister Ruby Chancey. She is survived by: her children, Heather H. Godwin (Rick) and Brandon Hudson (Heather Turner); her grandchildren, Caitlyn Godwin, Chloe Godwin, Haley Hudson and Drew Hudson; and her siblings, Katherine Brooks and Robert Dungan. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
