He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ollie Beverly and Sarah Ida Robinson Beverly; his siblings, Fred Ollie Beverly, Jr., Sarah Beverly Chastain, John Douglas Beverly, Phililp Lanier Beverly and Ruby Catherine Beverly; and his son-in-law Werner Tarleton.

He is survived by: his wife Anna Watson Beverly; his children, Joseph Robinson "Robin" Beverly, Jr. (Stephanie) and Cameron Elizabeth Tarleton; his grandchildren, Christy Dawn Beverly, Kristopher Neal "Bama" Beverly, Jason Michael Moore (Jennie Rae), Chelsea Beverly Moorer, Marie Jessica Morgan, Anthony Webster and Leila Tarleton Nichols (Bo); and his great grandchildren, Carolyn, Molly (Latiana), Roman (Lexi), MacKenzie, Nathan, John Watson "Jack", Corbin, Victoria, Justice, Mary Bo, Rex, Josie and Joseph. He is also survived by three great-great grandchildren and innumerable nieces, nephews.
